Do you know if anyone will be bringing along a Wapi that has been rescaled. I am a fan of the Wapi and am contemplating changing the scales,it would be great to see one that has been modified.

I suggest you wait until after the UK meet up. The razor I just posted is a rescaled Wapi. You might win that one. And if you dont and you like what i've done i'll make you one.

Just came over from B&B, to sign myself up to this get together, if there is still room. Have been using a safety razor for ages, but I am looking into starting (again) with straight razors (it didn't go so well the first time). Would there be any parking in the area?

There should be plenty of parking outside the hall & loads of spaces in the hall. It is good to know we will not be the only Welsh representatives.

I am not actually welsh (I am originally from Germany), but it is great to know others from Wales are into traditional shaving (guys I know think I'm crazy for not using multi-bladed crap with horrible chemical-smelling gels and things).

Any note on whether there is space still available (as there isn't room for too many people)?

There's room for you ... put your name on the list.

The hall has space for 40, if memory serves me correctly. Last time I looked, there were 23 coming. If you want to come, pm Sidney with your e mail address & he will send you an invite & programme. This will give you something to show the cops, if you are stopped by them with your sharp & shinies.
