Tink I have your name bage from the Meet and a couple of Trumpers samples and a stone from Steve "BluePrinciple" Invisible to post you. Hope you're feeling better.

Pic's not going well, using an unfamiliar laptop!

Think I may just post them on the UK social group for now and point people there.

    Bloody technology!!!!!

The laptop is not cooperating and I'm too tired and slightly drunk, so I grab some sleep and try again when it all makes sense again. My apologies for keeping everyone waiting.

It was a great day, and it was such fun putting names to faces. I want to say thanks to Stephen, Sandy, Spike and Silver for organising such a great shindig. You guys rock!

It didn't get too messy. Well, relatively speaking. Though I have a feeling if the trains to Wolverhampton had been running any later it might have!

Oh, and maximum respect to Grazia, Chimensch's angel of a wife, who stayed the whole course, including being at the meet, the pub afterwards, and drinks in the bar, despite not being an English speaker. If that had been Mrs Majurey I think I would have lost her after the first five minutes.

It certainly was a great day, all over too quickly

Would like to say a big thanks to the guys who organised it, the demonstrations of restoration, honing and shaving, and in fact every one who attended and made it a great day out.

Was really nice to put some names to faces and learn from some very practical experience.

    Thanks again folks.

Yesterday was really great, many thanks to those who organised it. In fact, it has inspired me to put a few straights on my wishlist for Christmas (and socks, which I never seem to have enough of). The raffel was also great, many thanks to all those who donated to that (I really like that Jaguar razor I picked up there, a nice piece).

It was simply a FANTASTIC day. Well worth the total of 6 hours I spent waiting for delayed planes at both airports. You guys are the greatest- so friendly! And nobody dozed off during my presentation so it cant have been that bad. HUGE thanks go to Steve for paying for the use of the hall to Tony for a resto presentation I was gutted to miss but will very soon see on Silvers video camera to Stephen for his organization skills, MC abilities and getting the ball rolling. Of course thanks to Spike for your shaving demonstration and for giving me the best quote of the night-

    "Goddamn! That IS shap!"

I cant WAIT for next year guys.

I would also like to thank -

    Rob Celis of Ardennes Coticule
    Fr. Anne Rothstein, Dovo razors
    David Loft, TI razors
    Kent Brushes Ltd
    Nurse

and all who helped make our day one to remember. Keep the badges! One day they will be as rare as the ones on my 1969 Wrangler jacket!

I look forward to next year!

On the flight home, Grazia told me that she appreciated how friendly and inclusive everyone ones. I say +1 to that. We had a wonderful time getting to know you all and we are already looking forward to next year. I mentioned to a couple people that I'm starting a barber's course next Monday and I've decided that my contribution to next year's meet will be to give a professional barber's shave to all who will want to experience it.
