im out
i didn't think it would take me tween 9 and 12 hours depending on the way i went
sucks to miss out on this but 9 hours if a bit far for me to drive my self for the weekend

i have friends and folks in AL
maybe i can take a week of for next time around and make it a big road trip
while in the corps i made many a weekend like this but im not up for it any more (think 6K miles a year since work at home )
my but just cant handle that much road time

Yes Chris, I am not renting a car this time considering the rental sat in the hotel lot the entire time last year....
