Hello Mike. Wish you were here. The party broke up about a half hour ago and all are on their way home. We had a good get together and all got a lot of good stuff. We shaved and sniffed soap, honed razors and ate chicken. I will post pictures tomorrow after reviewing them.

Thanked: 488A great time
Thanks to BJ for being one heck of a host and feeding us some fantastic goodies not to mention Shams delicacies! It was a great time to say the least. I imagine we are all on information overload with all the honing, restoration and looking at before and after edges under a microscope. I've never seen so many beautiful razors especially Lynns Mastro's and heck everybody had some real beauties.
As Lynn said it's nice to be able to put faces with names and as for me it was wonderful to meet so many nice guys that are so willing to share knowledge and just good folks:-) We had a very nice drawing for items Lynn brought. Sham was so much help to me showing me much better ways to hone. I've also never seen so many hones of every kind and shape---drool!
Anyway, I don't want to cover everything because I'm sure others will want to put their two cents worth in.
Mike I'm really sorry you couldn't be there:-(
Phil
PS BJ you have the nicest shave den on the planet!!!

Well I guess I should be happy I have a job it just sucks , I have been bugging Colleen to get me soaps and new bowls in a hurry so I could bring them to the party. I had my bike loaded up with Soap, Guns, Alcohol, I even bought one of those Grey colored Sharpies used for autographs because I wanted to get a pic of Lynn autographing the backside of my strop.
Anyway I'll be looking foward to seeing some pics tommorow, Im glad you guys had a great time.

Here is da pictures
I want to thank every one for coming and contributing to the get together and especially Lynn for bringing all that stuff for give aways. A special thanks to my nephew Paul's wife Sarah for help in the kitchen and with some excellent pictures. We were all scrubby looking at the start but looked real good [It's better to look good than to feel good] when the party broke up. I downloaded some of the pictures to My friend Flicker [Sounds like a TV program with a horse] so I wouldn't overload the thread so here it is.
