Big thanks to everybody who came this year. It was nice to meet the other guys in person, and it was nice to meet up with the previous year's crew as well.
BJ has a really nice place, and was a gracious host.
I just wish I would have gotten a chance to really get into those Naniwa stones though. The low grit stones seemed promising.
Never enough time for all the things we see, but I still think I learned a few things.

Thanked: 488Sham,
Thanks for the pics!I really like the picture of the stone standing on end. You can really see the way the stone formed---very cool stuff. I agree completely with what you said. Lynn is a great teacher alright. I sure learned a lot from him and from you my friend:-)

Thank you BJ it was a wonderful event and just like last time there was too much to do and not enough time. I am proud to know every SRP member Ive ever met and would like to extend another thank you to Lynn, he was definately the frosting on the cake! One of these days maybe we need to host a 2 day event, to make it easier for others to make the drive, attend one day or the other at their preference if not 2 days. And to give ample time to see, do and experience eveything without being rushed. God bless all of you and thanks to all who attended, what a great bunch of guys.
Lynn, thank you for the 3 bits of wisdom about turning 50. I will take it to heart! It is easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled. Twain

Thanked: 488Nun2sharp,
Would that be the advice about when you turn 50 you start falling apart! If so I can back him up on that one!!!!!
You know one big thing I learned was that even if the razors are identical they may be completely different in how they shave and how sharp you can get them. That and the method to get them sharp. Yep still contending with info overload---LOL!
Have you started looking for microscopes on ebay yet:-)
