Thread: NYC Area Meet - May 1 or 2

the meet will either be on the corner of Russell St and Nassau Ave in Greenpoint Brooklyn. It is very close to both the Williamsburg and 59th St Bridges with easy access by way of the BQE.
If the falls through(which I will know by the end of the week)then it will be help in my humble abode just half way down the block.

This is a no brainer but I see there is fading interest so I am done beating my head on the wall so you guys decide.

I should be able to make it on a Sunday - not 100% certain because of work, but add me to the head count.

I'll be able to come if this is happening on Sunday.
Is there any list of who's coming or plan for what we're gonna be doing?

Count me in for Sunday May 2. Unless something comes up at the last minute, I should be able to make it.

now that i see you guys are coming around so i will stop in the bar and get an update. for a while i couldn't get a pulse and i didn't want to reserve space and have things fall apart.
anyway, i am syked about the meet and i look forward to seeing you guys again and meeting a few new ones.

OK, I stopped by the bar today and it looks great, just need a final OK by the old man.
The place is called Goodmans Pub and it is on the corner of Nassua Ave. and Russell St. in Greenpoint Brooklyn.
It is literally 5 blocks from the BQE.
If you go to Googlemaps.com and put that corner address in it will show you exactly where it is.
If by some chance the pub falls through my apartment is right down the block and I think it will be big enough for the meet.
I don't see that happening, but I just want everyone to be assured it is happening is all.
The family who own and run the bar drink a bit so getting back to me seems to be up to me to pop in.
Anyway, it looks good and I thought I was going to be able to update this with a 100 confirmation on the bar but it is 90% as it looks and 100% for my place so either way I am looking forward to it.
I'm new to organizing these things so if anyone wants to chime in with any ideas I'm all ears.
