I did not back out on you guys, as you put it, Kevin.
I am making the trip to the area for my brother's graduation, and we are getting together as a family on Sunday. Given that Mom is coming in from Santa Fe and I don't get to see her much, I'm going to be spending the time with my family.
Had things come together with a definite time/date and location, I probably could have asked my family to work around the meet, but that did not happen far enough in advance for me.
QuickNicker, you should feel no pressure to attend just because I cannot be there.Last edited by holli4pirating; 04-27-2010 at 10:07 PM.

no offence Dylan
Maybe i didn't word it well but yes, I am disappointed, but of course family comes first so no worries. Just know you will be missed.
Sunday is coming fast so can we get a head count in the next couple of days so we can have an idea what to expect and make a plan?
Again it starts at 1 and goes until whenever it ends basically.
Bring your razors, hones, strops, and questions.
And oh yeah, a seat!
Well, he said he would see what he could do so we'll see, but in the meantime keep it in mind.

Thanked: 4Guys - I'm in.
Do we need more furniture? I have a folding backyard table that I can get, if I can find a way to squeeze it in the car. Let me know.

OK, I will see you guys tomorrow then.
At least I hope so. I don't see lots of confirmations so I am just assuming you are men of few words.

thanks Gabe
I did do a lot of leg work and ended up having my friend Mark let us use his place. I did the best I could even though no senior members showed up.
I always follow through on what I say so I came back a day early from my weekend trip with family to be there. And if I could not make it I would have made sure someone else was there to take the reins, not make sure nobody did.
Thanks for the props and I hope the next one will have more people and maybe at my place this time
By then I hope to have more time under my belt and more to share as well as learn.
