I will be there Friday afternoon to get some pictures and watch you guys do what you do with the metal, then Saturday and Sunday.

I'll bring microscopes, stuff for honing, cleaning light resto and pinning supplies, a few razors for show and tell, and some kind of eats to share - still haven't figured out what yet; I am a little low on venison sausage this year.

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

My venison is also getting used up particularly fast this year!

Mike is providing the meat for Saturday with leftovers for Sunday and also the eating utensils.
Let us know what each of you can bring for food & drinks so we can minimize overlap.
There is a Subway, McDonalds and SuperAmerica and a restaurant close by for those so inclined.
I will bring some sort of vegetable tray. { At least we can try to eat good!} I have eaten at that Subway many times but you have to be careful of the Semi Trucks driving through!

Baked beans with sausage for Sunday. Crock pot full!

... and plan to bring along a few cigars to share, if anyone's interested (as that was mentioned early in the thread). Looking forward to seeing y'all again, it's been awhile since the first get together!

You guys have a great time out there.
I wish I could join you for what will undoubtedly be a great time... eating meat, drinking coffee, and hammering glowing hot steel.

I am going to bring my lathe and do a brush turning demo, if anyone is interested. If not, I'll have more time to hammer. Think I'll make a cheesecake, if time permits. See you bright and early Saturday morning. I'd be there for Friday, but have to work in the afternoon.

I got time off from dad – duty so I plan to come to the meet on Saturday between noon – ish and 5PM. I am open to carpooling if those hours are OK for anyone. I plan to bring tortilla chips , tex-mex dip and beer.

Sounds like a hot forge will be a popular place.
Have a good one guys .
