I'm in Seattle. West Seattle to be exact.

Well, between Mariusz and Pavel, I have been asked to visit the west side several times. We may have to have a mini-meet near Seattle soon.

That would be awesome. I seem to have jumped in head first before learning how to swim. I'm getting the shaving part down pretty well, but my collection of un-honed razors is growing, and unfortunately I can't afford to ship them all out. Add to that the 2-3 sets of scales that I want to make, and I would say I'm in a bit over my head. Any hands-on advice/instruction would be greatly appreciated. I'll be around all summer...best time for me would be after May (law school finals before then). Let me know if/when you plan on making your way west!

Sorry I couldn't get back on here sooner. Thanks a ton you guys for this. My wife and I had a blast and the hospitality was great. It was really cool having other people to talk razors with.

To any newbs try and make a meet up whenever you can. It was a bit of a drive for us but I got a ton of first hand experience from people who really know what they are doing. I had several people help with honing and just great razor knowledge, I made my own brush which was really cool and met some really good people. A lot of fun and thanks. It was also cool to try out some of Gerrit's collection of soaps.
You have converted me over the uber lather ways which I am going to be trying to create this weekend. A scuttle might have to be in the works here soon as well.
Thanks again. I super glad I could make it.
If you don't understand my thought process, please read my mind and It will all make perfect sense and should be enlightening for the both of us.
