My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Neil Miller. His knowledge and his willingness to share the same will be sorely missed.
Last night, I shot an elephant in my pajamas..........

It's never too late to say goodbye.
Neil was an example of what this place is. Sharing and Caring. In Gods Loving Arms, RIP Neil.-- Any day I get out of bed, and the first thing out of my mouth is not a groan, that's going to be a good day --

Thanked: 5I am pretty new to the forum so I never heard of Neil until a few days ago. After reading this thread and searching his posts he seemed like a mench! Sending light to his family and friends!

Thanked: 3795I've been off the forum for a few weeks but read a reference to him in the past tense and so searched for this thread. Given all the health trials he went through, I think every day he had recently, and every post he made here during his struggles, was a bit of an unexpected miracle.
His knowledge and his wit were, and always will be, greatly appreciated. I will miss him.

Really? I can't believe it! I just performed a search to see if he was in the forum to contact him via personal message, or just send him an email about a new stone, and found this thread! I can't believe it!
Most of the things I know about hones came from his knowledge and guidance, and the rest from Mr. Henk Boss! These two gentlemen, may they rest in peace, new more about hones than all of us put together, and both of them have passed away!
My condolences to his family. One of the most knowledgeable people on the site is with us no more. I feel terrible.
I'm sorry for your loss, he will not be forgotten.
