I've been out of the loop for awhile, and just learned days ago of Neil's passing.

I think of Neil Miller as a true "Renessaince Man.." A wealth of knowledge on many subjects, who did not suffer fools gladly. None of us are ever irreplaceable, but Neil comes as close as any man could to the straight razor community.

I will remember Neil's kindnesses to me on many levels ... Opinionated? Maybe, but with the knowledge to back it up!

Godspeed, Neil Miller .. and my heartfelt sympathies to his family.

Same here. What a loss. I had the pleasure of his response to a few of my posts a while back, and he distinguished himself immediately with his knowledge. Not a man to be forgotten. Requiescat in pace.

I have been away from the site for a while, and decided to look in today only to learn of the passing of Neil, with great sadness and shock.
I bought several razors (mostly Bengals) and strops from him and it was always a pleasure to have contact with him

How true, I loved seeing that label on a parcel- and the hand written note inside.

Indeed. That penmanship belies a great education, both formal and as a result of reading through a great deal of it.

Concise, honest, and to the point. That would be Neil.

It has been a year since Neil passed.

    I miss my friend.
