Difficult dealing with loss, hey? Member Ed Hewitt once wrote to me about it, we lose a lot of people, some are easy to say goodbye to, others not. Whatever the case, Neil found something that he was good at, and somewhere he belonged, and a bunch of people that cared right up til the end. In my book, that's a pretty good thing.
I love the smell of shaving cream in the morning!

Still......Not the same without him. He is still missed, for certain.
I am glad we had him as we did!"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.

Gone, but not forgotten ;
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 1081Life goes on but I still think about Neil, when I go through old posts I smile every time I see his comments, even a simple "like" or "thanks" is bittersweet.

I have been thinking of Neil a lot through out the year & still adding thanks & likes to his posts but I have been thinking of him a lot more lately because I knew the 1 year anniversary was coming up.
It has been a year my friend & although you did not know me as long as others, you did respond to me a few times & liked some of my posts. I loved your posts & threads very much! Your name is mentioned often so I speak for others as well when I say you have been dearly missed & never will be forgotten. Your vast knowledge & wit is very much missed here but one thing we do know, you are in a better place now & not in any pain. Now you & Bill, aka pixelfixed are exchanging stories & remembering good ole times. He too is dearly missed. Mostly I know your family misses you & I hope Kim & your kids are doing wonderful.
I miss you very much my friend, Things aren't the same w/o you & never will be.

Seems like yesterday, time flies. Cherish every moment with those you love and call friends.
Why doesn't the taco truck drive around the neighborhood selling tacos & margaritas???

Thing that still sticks in my mind the most, apart form Neil's knowledge, was his sense of humour.
We sent a number of pm's to each other seeing if we could work out what Duayne Eddy tune they were.
They read something like this : Twang twang, twang twang twang twang, twang twang twang twang, twang twang"Last edited by onimaru55; 07-08-2016 at 03:03 AM.

+1 with what Tom said. Remembrance is a special thing for special people we have lost but will never forget.
We all miss ya Neil because we all love ya. Be free like the wind, sparkle bright like the stars, warm as the sun, cool as the summer rain & soar high like an eagle. I'll see ya then, when I catch that train...............
