Hey Vasilis, yeah its a really nice finisher...i tested this one with glycerine. Its an example which was used with oil before not excessive but it was..so i wanted to try out glycerine. The razor was progressed with a KING 1K/6K combination stone, which already polishes very well with the 6K Side, then the Rouge Du Salm was used...

The bevel was more polished, just from the look with my eyes like using a 10K Naniwa Specialty, but with certain typical and visible scratches like many other naturals share....

HHT was good (HHT 3-4) pre stropping....tomorrow a testshave will folow

Is anyone willing to educate me about a Franz Swaty Vormals, Marburg Austria. It is 5&1/8 by 1&7/8 inches; is reddish or brownish depending on your eye.
Was it used as a maintenance/touch up stone? Do you use oil or water ?

    Hi Learner,

this is a little bit off-topic here. Franz Swaty hones are artificial hones, barber hones that were used for touch-ups. They are used with water. If you check via the search function of the forum you can find a lot of information on these hones here.

The second trace is that many stones of "LA LORRAINE" have been sold out of Belgium and not from France....
The La Lorraine I got off eBay was sold offered by a vendor named belgamatch. Here is a link to their profile: belgamatch on eBay
Says they are based out of Belgium.
Is it over there or over yonder?
