I think there is a confusion of how hard a Japanese natural stone is everybody has.
Can you please post how the hardness is compared to the stones you have already?
A example will be you lap the Japanese natural stone against Esher or Thurigan or a 6000+ synthetic stone and see which stone makes the slurry.
Now about haze and mirror of the steel.
Japanese naturals make haze to steel if the Japanese is soft and steel is soft.
The matrix will be like this below:
Soft Medium Hard
Soft Haze Cloudy Mirror Mirror
Medium Cloudy Mirror Mirror Mirror
Hard Mirror Mirror Mirror

Naka san, we have fun at each other's expense sometimes but no offence is meant & certainly no one is making fun of you're English which is quite good. I'm sure Grizzley1 simply could not understand how you can tell a stones hardness from a picture. Apologies nonetheless.
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.
