Thread: Travel kit for honing

    Unless you are taking razors which need honing, why would you want to take hones as-traveling?
    I figure a few shavers and a strop would last a year or two!

    Haha, love it! Got a few pocket knife hones I wrap in a dishrag. My setup is more for around the house storage and movement. Doubt I'll ever have a need to actually travel with any of them lol.

    Tom, you are not honoring the thread.
    Perhaps one would want to set up a little table on the street and offer honing for a nominal fee.
    Or one is visiting a honeless friend.

    Well, now I'm gonna need a hone case, my Barber says he want's to learn how to hone a straight razor as that was Not taught at barber college.

    Though I'm not a Master honer of razors and am self taught in most things, would like to see the honing art passed on.
