I don't have many razors, about 20 or so and some of them I need to sell as I rarely use them.
My knife-maker friend hates what he calls "drawer queens," and I agree. I will happily give (or sell for a modest price) a nice straight to a guy I think will use it, but as you guys say, these are tools designed to be used. Especially if one can acquire a fine vintage tool like your Mappin and Webbs or similar, my opinion is that the lucky purchaser is virtually required to use it at least occasionally!

    Default Ozuku from Morihei

Razor: Wade & Butcher 8/8+. The blade was fresh off restoration so the edge was dull and ragged .

    Bevel set: Chosera 1k

Hone: Ozuku Asagi. No nagura progression needed with this stone. It is fast and fine.

These Wade&Butchers seem to hone themselves. An easy hone and the preliminary test (HHT) was excellent. I love these razors.
What a curse be a dull razor; what a prideful comfort a sharp one

This thread is amazing. Beautiful Blades and Hones .

Just honed these two. MK 133 A full Nagura Progression on the Nakayama.

A Dovo Flowing on the Ozuku and then given 100 laps on this 12" Akansas, I think that equals 1 mile

I've had quite a few in this week, these are the last batch of 4 finished today, 4 razors 3 Kamisori razors including one western-style Kamisori, all needed a complete bevel reset, starting with the Chosera 1K through the progression finished on the Suhiero Gokumyo 20K.
