Sent this kikubushi across the stones last night , did a shapton progression 1k to 5k , then onto the aiwiitani for a nagura progression and wrapped it all up on shobu tomo slurry. This one challenged me , whoever honed this before had it all wonky it took some time to reset the bevel , the very tip of the razor didn't shave worth a darn , it's strange because under the loupe it appears like the rest of blade and has a nice kasumi finish . Gonna have to play with it a lil more . Other than the tip the rest of the edge was a dream to shave with and it effortlessly mowed through multi day beard growth !

Finished up this H.Diamond last night , sent it thru a shapton progression 1k thru 8k, moved over to a aiwiitani for a full nagura progression. Made for a effortless bbs shave with a sticky edge!

I've often thought about making scales out of one of those pearloid toilet seats...a NEW one of course.
You could make a buttload of them from that...
