What surprises me is that they still make them.

Sent this y.s.s razor across the stones yesterday. Made for a effortless bbs shave. The edge was sticky / tedious , but it wiped away 3days of beard growth like a hot knife thru butter.Name: Compress_20231115_221052_2571.jpg

Put the azuma near wedge across the stones yesterday , started with a shapton kuromaku progression 1k thru 8k , moved over to my brick of a jnat for a nagura progression, made for a effortless bbs thanksgiving shave! Name: Compress_20231123_150314_4375~2.jpg

Finished up the hoshi tombo 8500 last night the resulting edge was insanely sharp , it was tedious but man did it mow through my beard I'm talking zero pressure, any pressure and I could feel it grab skin. Truly blew my mind on how sharp it was , just one pass and I was bbs!

Sent it through a shapton kuromaku progression 1k thru 5k, after moved to my aiwiitani jnat for a nagura progression year botan , botan, tenyju, mejiro, koma, tomo. Wrapped up the session with what I call heavenly tomo slurry, which was matched to the base stone. The edge was left with a awesome kazumi finish that I wish I had a way to take a pic of to show you guys!Name: Compress_20231129_210009_9321.jpg

Put a edge on this micor 3000 folding kamisori last night, this took a beautiful looking edge , if it shaves as good as it looks I'm in for a treat! Started with a shapton progression 1k thru 8k, moved over to my brick of a jnat for a nagura progression. Hoping to shave with this guy later today or tomorrow!Name: Compress_20231201_225652_2962~2.jpg
