Yeah my bevel to be honest looks closer to pic two but a little but thinner. Ok so what do you recommend I do?

So go back to the 1k then? Is it just shear luck that my other two bevels that I set look the same and give me a good shave?

Use w/e stone you use for bevel setting, if your other bevels look the same , it is very possible you have not experienced a good shave yet.

Ok, of course I'm taking your word for it. I'm just going to keep at the 1k chosera until I have virtually nothing to see. I just got schooled and feel.. kind of dumb to be honest....

Just one last question, if the bevel isn't set how come it's passing the tpt, and popping hairs, and giving me dfs? Luck? Or am I partially there?

run the razor on the side of the hone lightly to get rid of the wire edge, then work the bevel
