I only occasionally need a knife, and since I don't knife hunt bears this one does a trick CRKT Eros, people usually describe it as gentacticals , it's fairly light (app 40 g), not spring assisted, but since it has ball bearings in the pivot it openes really smoothly with a flick of a finger

My EDC is a Camillus folder. Easy to sharpen and holds an edge quite well. I use it to cut robe, cardboard, food, even clean my finger nails as well as alot of other stuff. It does what I need it to do. For $25 I can't complain. I used to carry a Gerber, but I didn't like the serrations and I was constantly sharpening it so I got this one.

I got this little guy 2 for $20 as a Christmas pack or something. Can't complain. Had a horrible factory edge, although a lot of knives do. I put a new edge on it and have been carrying it since.Name: IMG_20140128_043701_250.jpg

In my emergency bag in each rig is a folding Schrade "Uncle Henry"
On my Holster for hunting is a 35 year old Semicustom Rigid Skinner that was the only thing that Psycho ex Girlfriend of mine ever bought me that was worth a darn
Someplace in the Camping boxes is a 100000 blade Swiss Army Knife hehehe that I still to this day am not sure what all it does..

But yep for an EDC I use the Husky pretty unexciting

I have something similar to that husky. My old supervisor found it and gave it to me. Needed a little fixing. So I fixed it and have used it just as much as my old 100000 blade Swiss army knife. Id est. Never, not once!

With the UK laws pretty strict when it comes to knives and especially locking knives you are only allowed to carry a non locking blade no more than 3 inches, my last EDC was a lovely little Spyderco Urban VG10 blade with a very grippy G10 handle. well I sold the knife and just replaced it with a super lightweight Spyderco UK pen knife with a CPM S30V blade and carbon fiber scales I'm really pleased with the knife very ergonomic carry and great blade steel.

I was looking at one of the crusader. But the tern fitted better into my price range lol. I believe it doesn't hold an edge as well as the ukpk but I've yet to need to take it to the hone. It was more the design of the knife I liked though, that and as well as being comfy it's easy to open one handed.

I got bored yesterday & went to the gunshow, not to buy guns, but they sell knives & everything else there, just about.
I spotted this Case Large Stockman, 1999, I believe, I expected a high price, but was surprised at what he wanted. I bought it. It was NOS, but had never been honed & needed cleaning. I will carry it for a while, it is similiar to what my grandfather carried day to day. I put a good working edge on her with some diamond plates & finished with a beat-up Swaty.
