Thread: EDC Knife

It's nice , simple & Beautiful.
Looks like a strong blade.

I carry a spyderco spyderfly or a benchmade folder I really want to get a benchmade model 42 soon.

Knives are a big no no here but I've been known to carry a DPx Gear H.E.S.T folder. Lusted after that knife until I finally got one, only to learn a '2.0' model was just about to come out. So, feeling wholly inadequate now, I'm lusting after a large Chris Reeve Sebenza :-)

Kershaw leek with the Sandvik carbon edge, you have to be carefull or it will rust, but I love it and it never leaves my side.

You can have a silenced rifle, for bunny hunting of course, in Un Zud, but you can't carry a knife?! WTF Bro?!

ive carried my grandfathers oldtimer single blade since he gave it to me on my 8th birthday. I recently recived a columbia river knife and tool (crkt) its called the lift off and its the closest thign to a switchblad i ever want to get caught with. i have many fixed blades some were my grandfatherers some i bought just to have some i use to skin out my fur catches some i use for gutting deer. i only have about 40 knives.

I don't want to know how many I have. I think if I did I would be a little concerned that I might be a little....C...C...C...Collector.

I also carry a Kershaw, but it's a Clash, one of the cheaper models. I love it, though.

I've got a few spring assisted knives. The only way you can get in trouble for the knife is if it's button activated. Otherwise it really comes down to how the cop is feeling that day :P If you're really concerned with it being close to a switchblade and want a folder that is quick to open look into getting the CRKT M16 or M21 series. Both are great knives, are quick deploying, and have no springs involved. They're opened simply by the force of your hand deploying the "flipper" as they call it. All it is is a tab of metal that sticks out at the base of the spine so when you apply downward force to it it pushes the blade up and out of the grip.
