Bread and water can so easily become tea and toast

    Ha ha..I know right.

The story is that, those were designed after 9/11 as combat knives for the army, the name references the talibans.
The blade is a real beast.

What is the purpose of the concave indent at the heel of the blade?
    Would it bite a firesteel?
I have put such indents, of lesser degree, on a couple of my survival knives to bite firesteel.

That is the choil, should work well for choke grip if you want to featherstick or other finer work. Fire steel will work too.

K-bars are great field knives I have several. On this deployment I have been carrying a Gerber 154CM and have been very happy with it. It is a nice companian to my benchmade folder.
Didnt buy it from here but this is the one I am talking about.
