    Anthony Hopkins is a very fine actor, no complaint. But I don't think he has any Welsh heritage (I could be mistaken) and lacks therefore that distinct soul and timbre of the Welsh tongue and soul that issued from Dylan Thomas' readings of hie own works. I can not forget his rendition of "Do not go gently into that dark night".

    I live a half hour away from Dylan Thomas's house in Laughrne, pass it everyday on my way to work the estuary there is absolutely stunning when the tide is in.
    On a cloudy day, picture doesn't do it justice.
