Meaning we are all on a patriotic roll for Wales I thought I would put this photo up of my old Wirehaired Fox Terrier Bluey, who is sadly no longer with me, I took this shot during 2008 when Wales won the Grandslam in the 6 Nations, so I had to dress him in the Ddraig Goch.

Mick does anyone do proper roo strops anymore. Wouldnt mind a proper strop. I followed James tutorial but don't think the leather I got was 100% what it could be and don't want to buy a whole hide. Besides would prefer to know it was done properly. From what Ive read have to agree. No one like Carl.

Legion did, but I never see him around here anymore. Jimbo has been set right on his source of 'roo hide, and he makes a nice strop on occasion. You might have to ask him very nicely though, and he would probably only do it if he had some hide left. I'm all out as well, otherwise I would make one for you, you being local to Australia I could send it to you without having the goons breathing down my neck. You need to use grade one hides though, and they cost more, but anything less and you will have hard bits from tick bites and scars from barbed wire and fighting to contend with in the making. Makes for a bit of wastage if you want to use it for strops etc.

But I'll never get to talk and be sarcastic with you then. Make me an honorary Aussie to go with my being an honorary Welshman so I can continue to dog all of your lives.
