I like to drag out my sketch book and do quick (under five minute) sketches of people and things while I sip my coffee. I'm no artist, but I find I like the place my mind goes to when I draw.

i must admit i think it took me over a year before it stopped stinging. i went camping and just took me de safety razor and hated it, felt like i hadnt shaved. when i got home and picked up my straight again something just happened, it all clicked into place. i started using the lightest strokes ever and i am less concerned with being bbs apart from on my cheeks and its super comfortable
If you get the stinging feeling with anything you slap on after shaving, then too much pressure is an issue. I might have mentioned that to you Ed in one of our PM's. If I didn't I should have. Speed comes with confidence and trust in the razors edge to do the job it was designed for. Confidence in being able to navigate your face avoiding nasty obstacles like noses and ears. And a good edge will mow down whiskers no matter what length of stroke you employ, so long as you make the minute angle adjustments along the way.
I don't concern myself with BBS so much anymore. Yes I can achieve it, but no I don't find it necessary to be satisfied with the shave. It is, however a milestone for all cut-throat shavers to strive for, and extremely satisfying when you do. More so when you find you can do it at will.

Yes, I have seen that function, though I can get a BIT compulsive about things. Thanks anyway for the heads up.

I wish I could do you a 'roo strop. It might have even got there before the razor! But I've stopped making and customs would seize it (maybe) before it got out of the country. Stupid bloody CITES regulations.. Well greedy bloody Customs jumping on the CITES waggon anyway!

Just call it personal care equipment or something. Though I realise it is a moot point, that's what folk in the UK are doing with razors since royal mail have tightened up on posting razors, well that's what I read somewhere here anyway.

I'm fully expecting this post from the SRP to be broadcast on BBC 1 Wales plus a weekly section in the Western Mail, Mr Peters as more supporters than the Llanelli Scarlets, second thoughts after watching them on Friday night that's not hard. :-)

I like my life without seeing the likes of Carl from the wrong side of the bars. If I'm going to receive a hefty fine or gaol time, it won't be for something as silly as giving someone a bit of leather!
