No worries mate it's some old tabac that hasn't been kept in an air tight container so it smells like stale pants. If you're wondering what tabac smells like ask your grandad!

Soap is hard, cream is soft. If you have a Boots or similar near by, or probably even the supermarket you will be able to pick up palmolive soap and cream for the best part of almost nothing. The cream will be in a tube like toothpaste, they also do a gel but I don't think it is as good. The soap is tube shaped and about the right size to hold in your hand.
Though this is a cheap product, it is very well looked upon. I use the soap, and have since I wa about your age. I now mix it up with various creams, and a BIT of glycerin to make "uberlather".

Pinaud Clubman, like the one below, is a strong scent. Some people don't like it, but i do. It smells a little like a cross between disinfectant and an old style barber shop. A lot of people will say you smell like an old man. It's an acquired taste, but it's a classic and I do recommend it.

Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

My Semogue brush died the other day; the bristles fell out. I LIKE boar brushes as because already mentioned they have more backbone which is in my experience better to use for soap. I soaked my boar brush in a big bowl or watery lather for a few hours when I received it to get rid of the smell.

Ed, 30 and 18 degrees in Celsius, right? Otherwise it sound like your'e living at the South Pole and set your refrigeration to make it even colder when you got home. I have air con. Run it in my bedroom at 72 Farenheit(sp). The house retains heat and doesn't dissipate easily. The Cella cream was fantastic! Lathered up almost like an explosion. Excellent cushioning. Used a 4/8 Spike that's close to needing a touch up and felt no roughness at all. Heard a new to me expression that I put to use and damn if it didn't work. "Shave the lather, not the beard" Makes for a light pressure.
