Got my razor back from Jamie, all freshly honed. Had my first shave with it there now. All went well though I found it tugged slightly. I did a couple of passes but the finish wasn't up to scratch so I finished off with a pass of my shavette.
Hopefully it gets closer as I get more practise

If you are going from a Shavette first time Kev then believe me technique and practice will play a big role you are on a big learning curve going from a blade to a straight, big differences in pressure stretching the skin angles I shave with a Feather DX on occasion and it's like chalk and cheese.
