Jamie speaks the truth,
it took me around two weeks to really get the switch.
Within a few days I was getting it solid but had to keep an eye on angle.
Switching from a shavette to straight is when I learned to feel what was happening instead of just doing it visually. It is just Whisker Whacking
Relax and Enjoy!

Thanked: 983I agree. Big differences there. Two weeks of daily use will get you up to decent speed though.

Think a mixture of nightshift and paint thinners has finally drove me mad!
Just had a conversation with myself, which in itself isn't that strange. It's just I'm not sure if this particular conversation was internal or if I was actually talking aloud :/

Hello from Northern Ireland
I had planned a wee trip to the Christmas market in Belfast on Saturday, grab a bratwurst and a few steiners of beers and blow off some steam.
But unfortunately some loyalists have decided to have a protest in the city on that day about a flag that was taken down from the city hall a year ago.
Might be best to reconsider my plans

Thanked: 1160I hope you get a chance to safely get down there sometime. This is the time of year to put everything away as it were and enjoy the Holiday. Good luck.
