I'm sure back in your day you had to walk ten miles to get to school, with bare feet and nothing to eat but a handful of gravel

Ha! No, but you're not too far from the truth. I used to ride a horse to school until I got gifted an old second hand bicycle which saved me the trouble of catching the horse and saddling him up. And it was only five miles to school. When we moved to the big smoke I used to ride the bicycle or once I leaned how, the skateboard and it was only half a mile to school. I always had shoes, but I would refuse to wear them and would take them off once I was out of sight of spying bloody adults. I was also always provided enough wholesome food to feed a small army...Which I suppose most boys are really

You guys think you had it so bad? Well, when I grew up, we were so poor my mother cut a hole in my brother's pants pockets so he'd have something to play with!

You definitely had an upbringing mate. And to think people call me a country boy!

Just spent the last hour or so reading over this old thread. I'd forgot how awesome/random it was!
