    Hello, and welcome to SRP. 1st question is the razor been honed by a pro. and is shave ready. things to look at right now is angle, pressure, and how many passes are you making, and lather. But the most important thing 1st off is the razor has to be shave ready. If it isn't get it honed and shave ready, before looking into anything else!!
