Thank you Ed, I've been wanting one for years but was too gutless to make the plunge .. The missus is really cool about it all which is fantastic and at times leads me to think that she encourages my RAD in a round about way as she hardly batters an eyelid when the delivery man knocks on the door hehehe .... Then again I don't batter an eyelid when she buys stuff either :-)

G'Day Kon and welcome.
I'm a bit late to the party too, but that is because I've been OS indulging my other passion (IOM TT motorcycle racing).
It seems that you are doing well - just watch out when SWMBO grabs your a$$ while you are shaving.....heheheheheheHang on and enjoy the ride...

G'day Havachat45, as they say "better late than never" lol ... IOM TT Motorcycle racing ... Very nice indeed!! I'm like Humphrey B Bear on a push bike lol .. I've banned the GLW (Good Lady Wife) from coming into the bathroom whilst I'm playing with the SR ... Not a good combo! So far so good, I cop the occasional nick or weeper but am going ok ... For me to get a closer shave only 3 weeks in than a slant bar DE razor is jaw dropping .. My family reckon that I'm nuts hehehe

A month in with the Ralf Aust and I'm kicking a few goals with the odd nick or weeper here and there. In the interim I've taught myself how to sharpen this beast with a Norton 4000/8000 combo along with a dose of CrOx afterwards and she's like brand new again .. Thank god for YouTube lol ... Not that I'm getting bored (very far from it) I just acquired this lovely beast ... A Boker 6/8 round tip with faux tortoise scales already honed .. She shaved magnificently well and oh so smooooooooth ... I feel like a kid again in a toy shop except these aren't toys lol ... Hope you're all well ...Cheers!

G'day folks just a note to say that its now been 3 months of daily shaving with a str8 and my technique has improved out if sight. I still loiter around the forums learning from all the posts. Oh yeah, this SRAD needs to be tamed lol .. Hope that you're all well. Cheers, Kon :-)
