Found this in the kitchen section of a Value Village store for under $4.

I think they thought it was a serving bowl, but it is a double walled stainless steel lathering bowl with a rubber ring around the base.

    Garage sale find...
2 brushes. Im going to soak the bristles in something creamy to try to bring them back as they are very brittle. But for 10 bucks for both i couldn't pass them up. Just a couple more for the wall. The bigger one is wood and what is left of the label looks familiar, but I cant place it. Name: 20190814_142023.jpg

Gave them a wash in warm water and oxiclean, then lathered them up with hair conditioner. I will let them sit a couple hours with the conditioner then a good rinse. Maybe make some real lather then rinse and see what i got.

This makes 22 brushes. Soon i will be making a shelf to go around my room and fill it with shave stuff i don't use.

Found these 2 razors at a garage sale for $20 a piece. The Coti was taped to the WB with the interesting note in between. Wish it didn't have the chip but i'm planning on honing it out and leaving as much of the width at the toe as possible. (will that mess with the geometry?)

That is a difficult one.. I would want to remove from the chip to the heel ideally but with that one i would aim for half way along the blade to the heel..
You have the rite idea, keep the toe end good..

My salvation army store never has a thing. I mean I have looked for years now, and zero finds. Maybe somebody in the collections room gobbles up razors and brushes, or maybe its store policy. I will keep checking, but its been a dry season.

They might have an ebay site just like Goodwill where they sell all the collectables?
