These, and their story are pretty interesting and pretty cool.
I can't remember though, the last time I took soap out of the original container to use it other than what comes in a small sample. I just load the brush from the original soap container or one of the small bowls that I use to keep my uncontainered pucks in.

Great thread, although it made me realize I have no idea where my snurdler is at the moment. I suspect it may have been swamped at the back of the cupboard when my girlfriend (and 2 tons of bathroom 'stuff') moved in last year. However I did find an old SOTD pic. After turning the brush handle in the photo, I still had some purpleheart left and if memory serves I was trying to make something else entirely, but an oops led me to the creation of a snurdler.
This is a community service announcement: Do YOU know where your snurdler is?
It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

That's a fancy Snurdler you got there. I like it. Now to make one to match ever brush handle you make and sell in sets.
It's just Sharpening, right?

That's a sweet brush/snurdler combo, Cangooner!
I need a fancy snurdler for myself. I generally use my CMon barber shears....

Oh let him out, for goodness sakes!
I have been known to have someone tell me 'Hey had a great shave!' at a meet.
I reached-up there and ran my hand up his neck.
He did not flinch.
Yep, said I.
We are comfortable. It's OK. Tc!
