I live in the city now but remember when I smelled smoke it related to me. The neighbors remodel and burn some lathe then they laugh at me when I go check it out. I can smell the difference.

Thanked: 0I've got an old kettle from around the late 1800's (according to the shopowner) with three long iron legs. I suppose it's supposed to go over an open fire. Haven't had time to try it yet, but I bet it makes good tea.
Back to breakfasts. Eggs, tomatoes and meatballs.

Thanked: 983Two poached eggs and two tomatoes for brekky this morning. Been on a health kick for a couple of weeks. Shedding the kilo's and soon to be on a regular exercise routine hopefully. Might be the middle of the night that I'm exercising but I have to do something. And I'm only "liking' the scrambled egg, pear and tea portion of your post Steph. You can keep your curried chickpeas .
