The fountain sauce has a much more robust flavour, colour and consistency very similar.Bread and water can so easily become tea and toast

No. Them oats is just soaked overnight. No cooking. Makes for a fine creamy texture and great on a warm morning (Or cold, as it has been here). If they were hot it would be porridge...Well Hot porridge instead of cod porridge. Give it a try sometime Steph. Look, I even have Ed doing science for breakfast, in working out the tomato sauce with the best flavour, colour and taste...

Thanked: 1160Amazon is your friend for hard to find things such as mites. also Costplus world market, and steel cut oats can be found in a lot of stores now. Look for McCannes Irish oats(Pic in earlier post at beginning of this thread) .well rounded he says......whaddya think Mick ? I like the "naught but u'mble Pyrates" description bett'r meself. But I'll take well rounded for now..tis cool.
