Did you Aussies notice that I did 8 sections thinking about the folds in the puggaree of a slouch hat?
Aussie cooking isn't supposed to be pretty, besides it looks fine.

No oatmeal today. Opted for a "Nightblade Special" to satisfy my yearning for pancakes.

50 seconds in the microwave was all the oats needed this morning.

Here is the difference between steel cut and quick oats.

Spatula for me Nessy. If I tried to pan flip 'em I'd be forever cleaning the egg off my ceiling...And face.

I only fry one side. For pancakes I usually spatula them over, but I have pan flipped in the past.

Indeed they were. Whole wheat blueberry pancakes. Wowzers...

And one of the sausage patties was homemade with ground pork from the butcher. Alas! Not enough Sage. But my wife and I are working on that.

    Stay tuned...

Saturday out at the Flying Biscuit. Eggs Benedict, thick crispy applewood bacon, hash browns extra crunchy, a fine biscuit with apple jam and a cafe americano. Mrs. Moo went omelette and snitched some of my bacon. I love her nonetheless.
