And that was also the reason I didn't have a breakfast photo today myself. My weet-Bix, toast with cheese and vegemite and cup of instant coffee were gone before you could say 'come and git it'!

Okay...so on the dinner thread I posted My Scots mince (First pic). Now....the next morning I'm makin my porridge as usual. Oats, a bit of water n milk and off we go. Hang on though......add a few spoonfuls of mince in with it and it becomes a beefy tasting savory porridge. Then top it off with a fried egg, and ya got protein, fiber energy and hearty morning comfort mmmmm. Oh...and also Blonde Swedish girls call you on the phone begging for your audience....but...sorry love ,no time. Breakfast waits for no man .sometimes one must be stronger than the world. I know it doesn't look like much, but it make up for it in taste !Name: 002.jpg

Speakin of steel pans. One of these days I want to get a steel crepe pan. They make outstanding egg pans. We used to bring that up in the cast iron thread.

Rolled oat, milk and water porridge with one grated red apple, four chopped strawberries, a goodly amount of sultanas and a decent handful of cashews.
I am going for a big brekkie to start getting me through to a late lunch.

Never thought of grating an apple I like that idea, I usually throw rasins in mine.
