I have two small ones I keep with my camping gear. Being the individual that I am, they are an ideal one man frypan.

Breakfast today (no photo. Was in a bit of a rush to get a child off to school on her bicycle for the first time. I had to go tail end charlie) was three eggs, fried, sunny side up with a lid and steam to finish, then placed on toast with butter, vegemite and cheese under them. One egg was place on buttered sourdough onion and parmesan bread. Really yummy that sour dough.

Them kids didn't get a sniff of my eggses! They had cereal, toast and porridge (depending on which child you talk to. They each have different likes.) And I got my pans for nothing some years back. Good quality too.

A good friend of mine has a huge cast iron pan that he loves to bring on camping trips so he has an excuse to use it. That thing is so heavy I would like to see someone try to flip with it! I have been looking for one of the advertising size tiny ashtray ones that would be use able to give him as a gift.

Any camping or cooking store that sells cast iron should sell them. Even WallyMart sells'em.

At my house my kids ate the same thing I did. If they didn't like it they went hungry.

My wife would cook chicken on nights I was on the night shift or out of town though.

The ones I have found are not of good quality and/or have raised print on the bottom. Plus I am a cheapskate.

Today I am back to work after a week off. Changing to work hours after my natural rhythm is a bear. I reheated some steel cut oats for breakfast and had some cucumber salad on the side. I thought that might take me after 1st break but no. I had eggs and hash browns at break and was still hungry at lunch. Had a big burrito. Finished off the cucumber salad when I got home. I am hungry now but better get to bed. I have slept 2.5 hours in the last 34...

Good morning or goodnight wherever you are.
