Here's mine today. Sprats n Dill, German Rye and cream cheese,Cuc's n radishes,sliced apple ,Black Assam tea with cherry jam.

I had never heard of Sprats until a few weeks ago. [My coworkers hadn't either!] I brought a can to work for everyone to try. They were very well received.

I have another can that I may have to have with leftover venison for breakfast in the morning.

A roast is thawed and ready to cook but you will have to go to the dinner thread to see it!

I got those sprats from the Russian market...better'n anything I get at the local supermarket.No contest.

A breakfast of leftovers. Ribs and venison salad. I had to add some Sprats just for giggles! It all tasted good so don't tell the doctor.

Todays Breakfast: German Brats,Russian chicken Pelmeni with fresh Dill, Lingonberries and Black Tea with Cherry Jam.

Well I was going to have some 'roo streak today because it's Australia Day here and what could be more Australian than eating an animal from the Australian coat of arms. Sadly it being a Public holiday and me getting rained in on the farm. I had no time to get any 'roo steaks from the local butchers and I'm not allowed to 'acquire' any from the mob of them on the farm. Lucky buggers they are too. They were well within range! Because the old man wants them to be left alone. So I dipped out all around today. I might have to make up for it soon though.

I got a chuckle thinking about our different climates. I have never heard the term rained in. We get snowed in once in a while.

It is predicaments like yours that make me want to have my freezer full! I can't eat today because I am going to have a procedure done or I would have some roo meat to celebrate with you. I am going to get away from these food threads.
