I wish I'd thought of taking pictures for all of these years about my food
I have several 'favorites' and some have been 'kind a' mentioned but my absolute favorite is made with home made Polish sausage sliced in half, grilled and warmed then with sautéed onions sauerkraut Swiss cheese and Dijon mustard and all on either a toasted hoagie bun or dark rye buttered and grilled with the filling inside.
As the little spoiled rotten little 's--t girl' in Willie Wonka and the Chocolate factory said; "I want it! And I want it now"! But I"m out of the sausageOur house is as Neil left it- an Aladdins cave of 'stuff'.

If anyone goes into Katz's deli I'll tell you how to do it. You go in and a hostess gives you a ticket/number. You stand at the deli counter and when whichever guy is ready to take your order you hand him the ticket with a dollar bill along with it. Folded up so it is on the sly. You get $5.00 more worth of meat than what the price of the sandwich is.
Hot pastrami used to be my favorite. With a side of potato salad and cole slaw and I mix 'em. More or less my favorite now is some variation of the Dagwood ....... but if you ain't an old guy you won't know what that is about.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
