Top of a Bunn coffee pot works a treat.

Living alone I don't eat a lot of bread, so I only bake one loaf at a time. For years I've used a 'toaster' type countertop oven. It did fine, it would fit a pie inside or the bread. However that's about all it would do. Sooooo this year I bought myself a Christmas Present.

It's a Breville BOV900BSS. It'll cook two pies or two loaves of bread. It has a 'Proof' built into it, from the factory it's set at 80 degs. "These pics are from the company".

    That is sweet, Roy.

Perfect for a single person, and keeps the kitchen cooler in the warmer months.

    Very cool kit Roy!
We have a countertop unit, but not with all those settings.
I’d be trying that dehydrator function myself real quick.
Home made beef jerky is da bomb!

Damn right, I have a dehydrator and it does great jerky, used to do it in the oven on very low with the door open but I like the dehydrator more.

Back when I deer hunted a lot with my dad and brother, I'd make jerky from a whole deer. ( Minus loins, back straps, and trimmings for hamburger )

The oven set on warm, door held open with a fork, was way better than the mega tier dehydrator I had.

Just line the bottom of the oven with foil , Peirce each strip of marinated venison with a toothpick, and hang between grates.

Keep in sealed containers, lasts a long time, eating it myself, but I typically would stuff mason jars as full as I could, and gave it out for Christmas.

Still left me ample supply for the year, kept a jar in the boat, and truck for snakin on. Refill as needed. Mmmm.

I used the new counter top oven to proof and to bake the rolls.

Thanks my friend. This recipe came from a bloke over in the UK. I find many of his recipes very interesting and easy to work with. He's a retired cook and he really explains thing very well.

My stove has a standing pilot for the burners on top. [The oven still needs a match.]

That works very similar to yor solution.
