It's alright, it's just cause of the rooster on the bottle. That stuff is really popular up around here.
I'm not normally a hot sauce fan, but the other day a friend of mine introduced me to Captain Redbeard's Sharkbite Garlic Cayenne Hot Sauce. Really good stuff; more sweet than spicey. Unfortunately, the bottle was nearly empty, and now it's gone.

I love hot sauce so I always like to try out any new one I find, but I've never really found any that I like better than Louisiana Hot Sauce. Lately I find myself reaching for the Tabasco Chipotle more and more though. I actually only live about 30 minutes away from the Tabasco plant.

Thanked: 88When I've done it in the past, I've just rolled a rolling ping over the dried cayenne peppers from the garden, ground them with a mortar and pestle, and mixed with white vinegar and salt to taste.
Just make sure to wear gloves or not touch your eyes for a couple of days! I thought I hadn't touched the peppers...

Looks like a cast iron pan... something I now swear by using, in my kitchen. I got mine by simply walking past a pile of rubbish, and picking the pan up. It was barely rusty, but had been used, so I've no idea who... or why someone threw it out. But their loss is my gain.
... I digress.
Hot sauce? There's only one, as far as I'm concerned... the original Tabasco red, although their "Chipotle" is apparently rather delicious. I'm just waiting on it being put on the shelves at my local supermarket.~ Dave ~ ... back to lurking...
