If your really want to be OCD, ask for a "wheel" instead of a "wedge" or vice versa depending on the bar stock. This will ensure that you get a freshly cut lime/lemon.

Believe me, you do not want an 8 hour old lime pickle ruining your drink.

Of course don't be a D*** and remember to tip your bartender!

Tonight in having an injury drink. I dislocated 3 ribs and my shoulder in a freak stretching accident. So I have me about a half of a 750ml bottle of absinthe that is going to ease my pain.

Sorry to hear about your injury. I've broken a few ribs, actually I had five fractures in three ribs on my right side. Made life unbearable for 6-8 weeks. I hope the pain is not as severe as a fracture.

I am a Scotch drinker. other than that, coffee and water.

Lol. I have absolutely no clue. I've been at the chiropractor the last 4 days and we only have 1 more rib to put back in. Then back to life. It was unbearable until the one today. He popped it in and it was like heaven.

I've self medicated with Jameson on a number of occasions when orthopedic aches and pains pop up. It's really quite effective.
    Otto and Mcbladescar like this.

Yes the liquid medication made me forget about the pain, well and forget half of the night too. Absinthe always makes me blackout.

I used to like jack and Jim but moved to Rye and ginger ale with 2-3 cubes.
Now I like Woodford reserve with ginger ale and Ice. It's a nice bourbon, smooth and tasty.
Next would be a Polish vodka Debowa, flavoured with bison grass mixed with Apple juice, really nice.
