Thanked: 7It depends where I am what the weather is like and what mood I'm in, but, I only drink two things other than beer when out so its still not that complicated. Gin and tonic with extra lime, or single malt on the rocks. That's it unless you're buying.

JD or Jameson.
In hot weather: Bombay gin and tonic.

I believe there are also vodka martinis.... a James Bond favourite and becoming quite popular these days.
Depending on the day, either a nice lager or a single malt whisky neat. Usually scotch but now we also have Glen Breton Rare out of Cape Breton! Can't understand how all you guys are ruining perfect good whisky by drinking it over ice, or mixing with pop. Blech. :-)

Now, the drink of choice just ends up being beer, belgian beer. It's odd because I never did enjoy beer, but these are just something else. And there are many to choose... However, beers (even these ones) tend to be a bit... long.
I have a sweet spot for my Irish Whiskeys, Bushmills in particular. If it's the mormal one, 2 rocks of ice; Black Bush, 1 rock or none (depending on the weather); the single malts I drink with nothing else - maybe a drop of cold mineral water.
I have a need for single malt scotch during those long nights when the "black dog" barks. I haven't had one of those lonely scotches in a while...
