    1 1/2 oz dry vermouth
    3/4 oz creme de cassis
    carbonated water
the gin martini is kinda redundant, is there really any other martini. i do love a martini every now and then. ill have to try a vermouth cassis

    Thumbs up

JD on the rocks or a glass of Merlot for me. If I'm especially bored, I'll go for Almaden Mountain Rhine on rare occasions because it reminds me of when I was in high school. ;-) (1960s)

    Namaste,

well.. being the raging alcoholic that i am. i have a tendency to drink anything and everything.. however.. my usual night out drinking usually involves stella throughout the entire night with tequila shots starting after about the fourth pint.. if i get really loaded i'll start doing gnarly bombs. it's a shot of half tequila, half jagermeister.. dropped into salted grass of redbull with lime squeezed into it..

if i'm just having a drink or two with friends.. usually a white russian or a maker's mark with a splash of amerhetto and a couple cherries.

I believe there are also vodka martinis.... a James Bond favourite and becoming quite popular these days.

Depending on the day, either a nice lager or a single malt whisky neat. Usually scotch but now we also have Glen Breton Rare out of Cape Breton! Can't understand how all you guys are ruining perfect good whisky by drinking it over ice, or mixing with pop. Blech. :-)

Wine (red in particular), Belgian and German beers, grappa, sambucca, G&T, whiskey, rum (especially in caiprinha), tequila, Strega, Madiera...

I have a pretty wide taste in drinks!

Now, the drink of choice just ends up being beer, belgian beer. It's odd because I never did enjoy beer, but these are just something else. And there are many to choose... However, beers (even these ones) tend to be a bit... long.
I have a sweet spot for my Irish Whiskeys, Bushmills in particular. If it's the mormal one, 2 rocks of ice; Black Bush, 1 rock or none (depending on the weather); the single malts I drink with nothing else - maybe a drop of cold mineral water.
I have a need for single malt scotch during those long nights when the "black dog" barks. I haven't had one of those lonely scotches in a while...
