Usually Finnish beer, which is not too great. Some nice Czech lagers, and a good vodka on the rocks. Love a nice scotch (single malt or blend, either way), but they give me a severe heart burn these days.
And because I started my personal prohibition last week, since then (as well as occasionally before that) I have mostly coffee (black), a variation of juices and water. It'll be beneficial in many ways, including for my head, gut and wallet, as a pint in Finland starts at about €5 or $6.30, most of them are north from there. And most of them aren't worth it. I won't even bother talking about liquor prices.

I've changed my drinking habits as I've passed through the past 2 decades. Instead of drinking regularly I've slowed down alot. I give myself the luxury of purchasing 2 bottles of scotch per year. One bottle of Lagavulin 16 yr, 120 bills, and a bottle of Laphroaig usually runs around 100-150 bills per bottle. I enjoy these more, I drink less and overall I save money. That Lagavulin goes really well with a good cigar

Above 90 degrees it's mojitos and in the cooler months its single malt scotch with a little shaved ice, and the rest of the time it's lager brewski

I'm very honest with myself and I would prefer a beer most times. I also very much enjoy a fine vodka with a twist, especially w a steak dinner. Champagne is another favorite when the time comes. Tequila in a margarita from time to time is nice. I've never enjoyed rum, con-yak, gin, or any whiskey without lying to myself. Wine?... I like the taste of red wines, but they don't not like me so much. I never do shots, or shooters. Beer me!

Scotch and soda has been my go-to for a couple of years now. It brings out all the positives of basic blended scotches and dulls all the negatives. However, unlike masking booze with pop you still really taste the underlying spirit.
I bought a vintage soda siphon for serving them at home. Adds some class.
They also seem to mix them strong whenever I order them out. They always gave me doubles in Vegas!
Vegas reminds me of the other big benefit. It's like having a scotch with a side of alka seltzer so you can drink them fiercely when the need arises and not suffer much of a hangover.

Yep a 24 pack of usually 375ml bottles, not sure how many ounces that is. And that $80 dollars is for a mediocre beer. A good quality European beer or even Budwierser is more up around $120 a carton. Some cartons are around $40 for a cheap shitty beer like VB(worst Aussie beer ever).
At a pub, a pint goes for around $12-15 I think and a bourbon is around $8 per shot.
