I had a craving for Pastrami. Last weekend I decided to be lazy and got to Subway for a Pastrami Sub... It was really terrible. Not much meat and the meat that was there was tough and stringy...
Well this weekend I made up for it. I went to Giamela's a local favorite. Really Tasty!

Dark rye bread. A thick slice of limburger cheese, liverwurst and a slab of red onion. Grey poupon mustard!

It has pastrami, provolone cheese, mustard, tomatoes, pickles, and onions, a splash of red wine vinegar, a shake or seasoning, and some hot peppers.
That's the Burbank Shop on Magnolia. The Atwater Village shop has some unusual yet tasty pizza.

Petit Pain, salad, some sliced tomatoes, hot piece of chicken and then hot sweet chilli sauce.
And this together with a glass of latte macchiato.

I like a nice hot grilled brie cheese and bacon sandwhich. Simple, easy, cheesy. My cup of tea.

Thanked: 2Man you really hit the nail on the head there, have you made it like a grilled cheese? Spreading oil or butter on one side, frying the bread, adding your ingredients between the fried side of the two pieces of bread then frying the outside. Now THATS a sandwich!
Or have you ever tries adding super thin sliced deli turkey, or bacon instead of sausage ? Or both
Maybe it's more of a southern thing but I'm surprised there isn't more talk about a a well smoked (20+hrs) BBQ beef brisket sandwich.... It's hard to ever say no to that
For anyone that lives in dallas, there's a great little place in east plano off 15th called Ye Ole Butcher Shop- definitely check that out if you're a fan of the 'cue
