    Similar but not the same.
Where does bovril come into the mite discussion?
Mick is not the only lover of thick mite, I like it thick too, but occasionally very thin with lots of butter is nice on toast to apreciate the subtleties.
Some go for the 5 dab method, where strangely enough you dab a mitey knife on a piece of buttered toast rather like the 5 on a dice with spots, then Spread, this is an accepted method of light miteing

I suppose you could put the sangers in a plastic dish, they would then float on any water in the boat.
Or you could mount a barbecue onto light timber, float that in the pool and have a steak instead. Mmmm steak.
Do I understand correctly that you want a steak on a barbecue on a table on a board on a beer-laden boat of moist ice packs in a pool in your backyard? I fear I missed the sangers, but that's because I don't know what that is

Well the bbq would be seperate, or you wouldn't be able to get to your beer, but otherwise yes. Sangers are sandwiches.

Quite correct Ed. Laurens you must realise that you've got to use common sense with this stuff. If you can't get to the beer, then there is a serious design flaw, as beer is also needed to clean the BBQ before cooking the steak. More beer is also required for adding flavour to the onions during cooking and during, while and after these tasks more beer must be consumed, especially f your the cook. The cook must never be left high and dry. As for the sangers, I think the solution is in those double zip lock lunch bags. Plastic containers take up more room than is required and ice is better for keeping the beer cold than those freezer packs.

And they would float if you blew some air in also.
The bbq raft could be made from empty beer cans.

    Laurens,
A boogie board is made from polystyrene and is only about 40x60 cm if that. I think a decent bbq would sink and or melt the boogie board.

Do propane bottles float, or is that another thing we need to allow for. Well unless we use charcoal.

Taken from The Bistro Sandwich, Sage Restaurant/Tallahassee FL. Sounds dull - magnificent.

Fill a pita pocket halfway with razor-sliced smoked turkey.
Toss in some spinach leaves (or not).
Moosh in an ounce of two or three of not-cold brie cheese.
Add a little of the dressing of your choice for flavor (or not). Key word, "little". Apple takes care of moisture.
Slide in five or six thin slices of a tart apple.

Takes, like, 3-minutes to make. To die for.
