    My favorit is
    Pastrami and cornbeef
    On toasted rye
    Light mayo and mustard
    Or thousand island
High aged swiss melted over it
Served with salt and vinigar chips
    And a sweet tea

mmmm there are some good ones in this thread. If I'm at home there is two that are hard to beat. They are very similar. Pan grilled rye bread with garlic butter and cream cheese with 1/2 pound of shaved cold smoked salmon or dungeness crab. If I'm in Montreal though its a Montreal smoked meat on rye at Schwatrz's

We have an Italian Deli just down the way a bit. I get some shaved Tuscan ham, thin sliced smoked Provolone cheese and fresh Calabrese buns to make a great sandwich with. Sometimes I make a toasted rye sandwich with a layer of scrambled eggs topped with shaved Tuscan ham and a thin slice of smoked Provolone cheese between the toasted bread slices. I am thinking the same ingredients just might make a good omelette too.
