Well, to contribute to the thread (and not just give Ed a hard time):

Turkey breast with Swiss cheese and peppered bacon on marbled Rye, romaine lettuce, dill pickles (sometimes kosher, sometimes not), red onion, jalepenos, fresh grated parmesean cheese, salt, pepper, oregano and dijon mustard.

Oh, and cut on the diagonal.

It has been to hot to cook here so I have eaten 4 different sandwiches today.

    Vegemite and butter for breakfast.

Peanut butter and butter for lunch.

These 2 for supper. Onion, Mayonnaise, tomato, and blue cheese with turkey on one and summer sausage on the other.

No pics, but I made a Cuban Sandwich today, for those not familiar, its sliced pork roast, ham, jarlsberg cheese, shredded iceberg lettuce, mayo, mustard and dill pickle chips on Cuban bread (which is basically a crusty baguette style), then pressed on a sandwich press. Delicious!

And a very special thanks to Ed Hewitt, I received my samples of Vegemite in the mail yesterday! I can see why its an acquired taste... I liked it, but I'll keep at it!

Sounds yummy, i love a sandwich pressed sandwich.
Glad the mite arrived, was it all in one piece, so to speak, I couldn't think of the best way to package it?
From memory marmite is more salty/ less sweet.
As said good with cheese on toast. Or just butter, the experience is very different between light and heavy coatings

Marmite is more salty for sure. Had some today with cheese...Need to buy some more because that was the last of it. Always have vegemite in the pantry. The marmite was just a small jar to try it out. I like it just much as vegemite myself, but it is a different taste, as are all the 'mites really.

Perhaps those of you who are mite rich could look at different combinations of mites, mixmite if you like.

Well now, I'll do it, and if I come up with a good combo I'll call it Mick's 'mite!
